CARFIn February 2010 the River Centre Clinic received Three-Year Accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for the following Programs:
    Partial Hospitalization: Mental Health (Adults)
    Partial Hospitalization: Mental Health (Children and Adolescents)
    Residential Treatment: Mental Health (Children and Adolescents)
    Outpatient Treatment: Mental Health (Adults)
    Outpatient Treatment: Mental Health (Children and Adolescents)

    "The RCC has been identified by its referral sources as the best kept secret among behavioral health peers, the community, other funding sources, and persons served."

    "RCC has demonstrated unique leadership to persons served in the treatment of eating disorders."

    "The RCC has a respected staff that communicates well with referral agencies, the Sylvania school system, insurance companies, and regional health maintenance organizations" ... "Staff members are noted to provide individualized episodes of care for each person served and are not viewed among peers as just cookie-cutter care professionals."

    "RCC residential services are housed in a safe, modern, well-furnished facility, and it is obvious that staff members demonstrate their compassion, professionalism, and dedication to service on a daily basis. These qualities foster a healthy environment of trust evident among persons served."


What Does CARF Accreditation Mean?
The CARF accreditation represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization. The Three-Year Accreditation outcome indicates that the River Centre Clinic has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable, and accountable.
