Positive treatment outcomes achieved by River Centre Clinic’s eating disorder treatment programs led in 2005 to an affiliation with Centre Syracuse (CS), a partial hospitalization program licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health.

The partial hospitalization program at Centre Syracuse provides eating disorder treatment services for adolescents and adults in the Syracuse area. The program can also make arrangements to accommodate those traveling from outside the Syracuse area. Centre Syracuse employs the same assessment methods and treatment model developed by River Centre Clinic. It also follows evidence-based treatment principles and outcome measures used by River Centre Clinic. These similarities enable the two facilities to refine their knowledge of eating disorder treatment.
