Partial
Hospitalization Program
The River Centre Clinic’s Partial
Hospitalization Program (PHP) for adults combines 35 hours per week (5 days a week, 7 hours a day) of partial hospitalization treatment with the option of independent living arrangements in dormitory-style rooms in or near the main facility. The PHP is the most appropriate level of care for the vast majority of women and men who suffer from serious eating disorders. It provides a higher level of structure and support than is possible during outpatient treatment, but is also an effective, safe, and economical alternative to inpatient treatment. <More>
Living
Arrangements for Adults
The River Centre Clinic offers an innovative independent living option for adult participants in the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). These adults share a nicely furnished college dormitory style rooms with one or two other adult roommates in or nearby the main treatment facility. This living arrangement
provides structure, support and safety without the disadvantages
of a restrictive hospital environment. It also allows participants
to practice real-world activities such as shopping, meal planning,
eating on weekends, and socializing with others. <More>
